The costs of hosting this website can be pretty expensive so to offset these costs we have decided to participate in Google’s Adsense and Amazon’s affiliate programs which allow us to earn a small commission when you either click an ad or make a purchase through an affiliate link. Both of these actions are done at no cost to you – they don’t increase the cost of the item you purchase, the commission is paid by Amazon directly to us without any additional charges being made to you.
Google’s Adsense program lets us display banner and text ads on our site that pay us a fluctuating commission based on each click.
Amazon’s Affiliate program enables us to receive a small commission after you click the link and place an order through Amazon. The price isn’t affected by the referral and it’s paid entirely by Amazon which allows us to pay for our hosting and domain costs without charging our readers.
